This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit www.aynla.org  (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect through our webhost provider certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Member’s Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Member’s Information that we collect generally to fulfill our legal obligation with the government agencies, such as but not limited to, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and for AYNLA to verify whether a person is qualified to become its member.

Additionally, we use this Member’s Information to:

(a) Communicate with you;

(b) Send newsletters and invitations in relation to AYNLA’s activities;

(c) Screen for potential risk or fraud; and

(d) When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide with the information or advertising relating to our services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns, if any).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser. 

AYNLA PURPOSES
The fundamental purposes of AYNLA shall be to:

  1. Attain optimal level of professional nursing standards among young nurses;
  2. Work for the welfare of its members, the nursing profession, and health sector in general;
  3. Assist nurses in their new practice of the profession;
  4. Respond to the changing health needs of the global society through advocacy and activism;
  5. Generate knowledge products, and advance evidence-based practice to advocate for effective and responsive policies in nursing and health development;
  6. Empower young nurses, through their active participation in health and development;
  7. Help achieve the present and succeeding development and sustainable goals set by the United Nations, and other health and development commitments based on existing mandates of the organization;
  8. Advance universal health coverage campaign for a more accessible, more equitable, and more effective health care system and delivery; and
  9. Establish strong linkages with government, non-government, local, national and international agencies in the attainment and furtherance of organizational goals.

YOUR RIGHTS
Any registered member, especially a European Resident, shall have the right to access their personal information we hold about and to ask that said personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business purposes listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION
When you registered through the Site, we will maintain your Member’s Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

AGE LIMIT
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 15 years old.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Alliance of Young Nurse Leaders and Advocates, Inc.’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only.
