AYNLA NCR launches “Balai Sessions”

The “Balai Sessions” is a series of group discussions on nursing & health issues, programs and advocacy done every 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month that will be attended by nurses and interested individuals. 

The Balai Sessions is pioneered and hosted by AYNLA NCR Zones through its lead chapter, QC Chapter. For its pilot discussion, Series 1, it will be this July 21, 2012 at the AYNLA National Headquarters, commonly called The Balai. For this pilot month, the Series 2 will be on July 29, 2012 but for the succeeding months the Balai Sessions will automatically follow the 1st & 3rd Saturdays.

Topic: “Nurses experiences with unethical recruitment practices”

Invited speaker: Ms. Courtney Dunham, Alliance of International Ethical Recruitment Practices from Washington DC.

Ms. Dunham will present some of the highlights of Dr. Patricia Pittman’s study on nurse migration & ethical recruitment. She will also share how their Alliance work with different key stakeholders.

The Balai Sessions is for FREE and can be attended by anyone in NCR. AYNLA’s national headquarters is located at 52-D Kapiligan St., Dona Imelda, Quezon City. You may take a trike from Mezza Residences and tell them the address. They will drop you off at a dark green gate, AYNLA’s HQ is the last unit.
